EP Unsamba Mission School project

The need…

Wesley has accepted the challenge of providing new desks and new roofs for the EP Usamba mission school in the Democratic Republic of Congo in central Africa. We’re making great progress! Our goal is $21,000 and so far (as of September 9th, 2018) we’ve raised $12,385, leaving $8,615 to raise through the end of the year.

Bishop Daniel Lunge visited the school in September and sent us some pictures and video of the school, the children, and the staff. Administrators shared how important the new roofs and desks are to the children’s education.
This year’s mission project has so much potential to make a difference in the lives of these children. If you haven’t done so already, prayerfully consider making a gift to the EP Usamba School project!
Online Fundraiser
To help raise the remaining money, one of our Wesley members has stepped forward to help us raise money through an on-line venue such as e-Bay or Craigslist.
Maybe you have something sitting around the house that seems like it’s worth too much for a rummage sale but maybe an online sale will do it more justice and result in a greater gift to the church. Members are welcome to include a minimum bid and we can return the item if it doesn’t bring the minimum bid.
Because some items sell online and others don’t, we’re asking that you not bring the items into the church. Please call the church office so the group helping with the project can evaluate the item’s suitability for online sales.
